Vico “HS High Stake”
Digitization of the insurance world – that was the challenge for HDI after the conclusion of a partnership with “Community Life”, a joint venture with annual sales of € 5 billion. The web application was supposed to support all sales activities and was implemented in record time by Vico “HS High Stake”.
The Challenge
HDI acquired Community Life to offer a wide range of digital insurance products. The deal called for a new web application that Community Life customers could use to buy insurances online. The application should guide customers through the entire buying process. This includes advice on the most suitable insurance products as well as automatic calculation of the price based on the entered information.
Community Life was looking for a partner to structure, design and build this app from scratch.
The Answer
Vicoland introduced the client to a Vico that had relevant experience in developing complex online applications for insurance products.
The German-based core team began the project by structuring the application’s infrastructure.
Over time, the core team was expanded with additional team members from nearshoring countries.
To sum it up
- It took 10 days from offer to onboarding of the Vico.
- The Vico was able to react quickly to new project challenges and requirements. In this way, the project could be dynamically adapted during its implementation. Thus, the application was developed entirely in line with the budget and the customer’s wishes.
